Pre-Conference Intensive Workshop

For the Pre-Conference, you will have the opportunity to register for one of two tracks: Faculty Development or Return on Investment. These are concurrent sessions, so you cannot attend both, but you can bring a colleague and each attend one! Bundle with Main Conference Registration for the Best Pricing! 

Workshop Track 1 - Faculty Development
This interactive workshop is designed to help clinical educators strengthen their day-to-day teaching and feedback skills in fast-paced clinical environments. Participants will learn brief, structured approaches for delivering effective on-the-spot teaching and will practice feedback strategies to support learner development. The session will also focus on identifying and responding to struggling learners using evidence-based feedback techniques that promote growth, accountability, and psychological safety. Through guided practice and real-world scenarios, participants will build confidence in conducting challenging feedback conversations with clarity, professionalism, and purpose.

Workshop Track 2 - Return on Investment of your Fellowship Program
This interactive workshop equips APP fellowship program leaders with practical tools to define and demonstrate return on investment (ROI) for fellowship programs. Participants will learn how to apply financial, workforce, and quality-based metrics; identify and track meaningful data and analytics; and translate fellowship outcomes into executive-relevant financial impact. The workshop emphasizes aligning ROI messaging with stakeholder priorities and organizational strategy, and prepares participants to confidently present outcomes to C-suite leaders.
