About
Mission
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship Program is dedicated to educating, training, and recruiting APPs in surgery and critical care to successfully integrate them into a career in surgery or critical care, while improving the life of every patient now and in the future.
General Program Information
The three separate tracks within the surgical and critical care fellowship program are: surgery, surgical critical care and medical critical care. Potential candidates should only apply for one of the tracks which aligns best with their career goals. Further information on the specific tracks can be found below. A significant amount of overlap does occur between the tracks during the orientation period and other didactic sessions throughout the year; the surgery track is the only track with operative experience.
Program Goals
The goals for both the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship programs are to educate and train the APP Fellow to be a qualified, well-prepared practitioner of surgery or critical care who can practice at a high level of autonomy and in parallel with standard of care following graduation from the fellowship.
